Sydney based multi-instrumentalist, arranger, producer and vocalist Jonti has just dropped his new single ‘Rain’. ‘Rain’ follows ‘Scrood’, a collaboration with Steve Lacy (The Internet) and his first solo release since 2011.

I made this song a few days after. Wolf heard it and convinced me to finish and release it. My grandfather fought hard to spend extra years with us, so with this song I wanted to tell him that I'm going to use his courage to get into the world again and do my thing. So here we are.” Jonti says of ‘Rain’, written and produced in loving memory of his grandfather, who passed away last year.

Following some noteworthy collaborations (Badbadnotgood, Mark Ronson, The Avalanches, Gotye, Hodgy Beats, King Krule, Tyler the Creator, James Blake, Questlove and Toro Y Moi), Jonti is currently touring with The Avalanches including a recent huge Coachella show and will join in on The Avalanches Vivid Live Block Party on May 27 in Sydney.
